Data Scientist

Join Parafin, a company dedicated to helping small businesses grow through fair and automated access to financial services. As a Data Scientist, you will leverage the vast data that powers our platform to drive impact across the company. Your work will include designing experiments to expand access to capital, building models to forecast portfolio performance, and creating data pipelines and internal tools. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Parafin's trajectory and develop expertise in various areas of the business.

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science (or related fields). We believe the most effective data scientists bring the following skills to their work:

• Develop valid and predictive machine learning models

• Write legible, reliable, and tested code
• Build or source tools to boost the team's efficiency
• Contribute to model and data infrastructure design
• Mentor other DS members on the team

• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders

• Management experience, a plus!
