SkillBridge Intern (Mission Manager)

Join Defense Unicorns as a SkillBridge Intern in a remote capacity. As a Mission Manager, you will manage the transformation and deployment of cybersecurity applications into a Kubernetes-based environment. You will play a critical coordination role between the Application Development and Platform teams, ensuring timelines are met and best practices are communicated. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is curious, adaptable, and ready to learn about driving customer success and managing mission outcomes.

• Manage the transformation and deployment of cybersecurity applications into a Kubernetes-based environment, ensuring timelines are met and blockers are removed.
• Act as a liaison between the Application Development and Platform teams, translating technical progress into clear updates and fostering collaboration across teams.
• Collaborate with Tech Lead(s) to establish the technical roadmap for Mission Outcomes, aligning Defense Unicorns’ Product Roadmaps to the technical roadmap for your Hero.
• This role is ideal for someone who’s curious, adaptable, and ready to learn the ins and outs of driving customer success, managing mission outcomes, and building relationships that matter
• We are seeking a dynamic individual who is able to adapt and take on new responsibilities as they arise
• Experienced at assessing and making decisions on new products, understanding their potential impact on mission objectives
• Proven track record of evaluating and selecting optimal methods for solving complex business problems
• Hold or eligible to obtain a security clearance
• Expertise in solving highly technical problems that span multiple knowledge domains
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the product vision, strategically aligning technical solutions with long-term objectives
• Proficient in identifying and articulating gaps in existing processes, shaping the product backlog strategically
• Must be eligible for DoD (Department of Defense) Skillbridge program
• A critical thinker capable of weighing various methods for solving business problems with a focus on product excellence
