Senior Solutions Consultant

Join PagerDuty as a Senior Solutions Consultant, where you'll leverage your technical expertise and customer-focused mindset to drive success in the sales process. You'll be responsible for understanding customer business environments, identifying potential roadblocks, and providing thoughtful solutions that utilize PagerDuty's products. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

• Actively identify potential roadblocks and provide thoughtful, technical solutions that leverage PagerDuty’s products.
• Run the technical discovery process and provide guidance, relationship-building, and support throughout the sales process to ensure customer success.
• Design integrations to provide seamless implementation with the customer's current technology stack and support sales cycles by handling technical questions.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a technical field
• Ability to do basic scripting (Java, PHP, Ruby, Perl) and a fundamental knowledge of Linux
• 5+ years of pre-sales experience
• Demonstrable knowledge of IT monitoring tools or IT Operations
• Experience selling SaaS in a fierce environment
• Excellent at multi-tasking, self-driven, and able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams
• Ability to travel to customer sites as necessary
• Strong communication skills to build and manage relationships with new and existing clients, with a focus on growth
• Understanding of monitoring systems such as New Relic, Nagios, Zenoss, Splunk, ServiceNow, and Zabbix
• Experience in both enterprise and commercial sales
• Familiarity and knowledge of PagerDuty's space, or already being a fan of our product
