HO
Senior Community Manager
HoneyBook · United States
About The Role
Join HoneyBook, a fast-growing platform for small business owners. As a Senior Community Manager, you'll lead our community of 100,000+ members, driving engagement, advocacy, and connection. You'll manage our digital community platform, facilitate discussions, and develop strategies to convert active members into brand evangelists. You'll also build and maintain strong relationships with members, understanding their business needs and product pain points. This is a hybrid role with open PTO, equity, and a wellness and development budget.
- We know experience comes in many forms - some visible on your resume, others not. No one candidate will be a 100% perfect match to our description, so if you thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually curious environment and have relevant experience, we encourage you to apply
- Growth mindset and ownership instinct. No project is beneath you; no problem is someone else's to solve
- 8+ years in community management or community marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior IC or team lead role
- Excellent communicator, clear in writing, persuasive in presentations, effective with both executives and members
- Experience designing and running live programming — meetups, workshops, activations — with the rigor to make it repeatable, not one-off
- Proven track record building and scaling high-engagement digital and in-person communities at a SAAS or SMB brand, moving customers from passive to participant to advocate
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) and a proactive approach to integrating them into daily workflow
- Strong program design instincts: you build with measurement in mind
- Familiarity with data infrastructure (CRM connections, Snowflake, LLM indexing) and a track record of partnering with technical teams to build it
- Deep affinity for small business owners: photographers, event planners, designers, consultants, and other creative professionals
- Experience building programs that connect community engagement directly to product adoption metrics and top of funnel growth
