About The Role
Join our team as a Staff UX Researcher, where you'll lead high-impact research initiatives that shape product strategy and guide cross-functional priorities. You'll take ownership of complex, multi-method research projects, generate actionable insights, and craft compelling narratives that connect research insights to product and business strategy. You'll also align cross-functional teams around research goals and continuously evolve your research craft. - Demonstrated ability to set research direction and strategy by proactively identifying opportunities, framing problems, and guiding teams toward impactful, insight-driven decisions that are aligned with member needs and company objectives
- A forward-thinking mindset around AI, with the ability to leverage AI tools in your workflow while staying current and bringing perspective on how AI can enhance your research processes and team effectiveness over time
- Experience establishing practices and standards that improve research quality, insight communication, and team alignment
- Highly skilled at defining research execution strategies, scoping multi-phase projects, and aligning cross-functional teams on priorities and tradeoffs
- Proven ability to synthesize complex research findings and craft compelling narratives that influence decisions across cross-functional and executive audiences
- Proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and ambiguity, with a track record of setting boundaries, cutting through noise, and enabling teams to engage productively with research
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity, while guiding teams toward clarity and impact
- Experience with a variety of UX research-related tools, such as Qualtrics, Ballpark, UserTesting, User Interviews, and Great Question
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience owning complex UX research initiatives spanning multiple workstreams and cross-functional stakeholders using a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Flexibility to collaborate across time zones with remote teammates and members, and occasional travel to meet in person
- Experience coaching and elevating peers across functions by modeling research excellence, scaling best practices, and fostering growth via feedback and mentorship
- A master's degree, PhD, or equivalent in sociology, psychology, human-computer interaction, or a related field is preferred
- Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication skills to share study plans, findings, and implications with clarity, persuasion, and adaptability for different audiences
