Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager

Join AtkinsRéalis, a leading engineering and project management consultancy, as a Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager in Vancouver. In this role, you will manage a variety of projects across Canada, applying industry-standard project management practices and technical knowledge of mechanical systems. You will also lead business development initiatives, develop and maintain project management processes, and collaborate with other engineering disciplines. A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering consulting are required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with your local provincial engineering association, and willing to become a member in other provinces
• Strong business acumen and client facing skills. Demonstrable experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients (i.e. understanding client objectives, anticipating and meeting client needs, and growing our business)
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 10 years’ of relevant experience in Engineering consulting with progressive responsibilities. Strong knowledge of project management and controls practices is required
• PMP designation or CAPM certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hiring
