Mechanical Engineer

Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer in Vancouver or Calgary. In this role, you will provide detailed engineering for building services projects, support business development activities, and ensure the quality and consistency of mechanical engineering deliverables. You will also perform site investigations and participate in local and corporate industry initiatives. Candidates should have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, 2-6 years of relevant experience, and be registered as an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer.

• Develop and manage mechanical engineering design deliverables for assigned projects, including investigations, report writing, design and construction administration.
• Support business development activities for the mechanical engineering group in Vancouver, and assist in developing, monitoring and maintaining project schedule and budget.
• Ensure the quality and consistency, accuracy, and neatness of mechanical engineering and deliverables as part of corporate QA/QC program.
• Registered as an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with EGBC or APEGA
• Strong analytical and communication skills to develop a solution and be able to communicate it effectively with teammates, other disciplines, subcontractors, project managers and clients
• Strong desire to grow their career in Buildings Mechanical Engineering
• Must have experience in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design for buildings, including utilization of applicable codes, standards, and design tools
• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-6 years of relevant building systems design experience
