P6 Project Planner

Join our Transportation team as a P6 Project Planner and play a crucial role in projects of all sizes and scopes. You will be responsible for establishing the Performance Measurement Baseline, supporting the Project Manager/Director, administering Project Control activities, coordinating monthly performance reports, and providing guidance to teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in a project environment, proficiency in Primavera P6, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.

• Establish the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support the project on the monthly collation of progress data related to time, cost, risk, and quality.
• Administer Project Control activities, conduct audits, assurance checks of contractors' monthly data submissions and ensure the submissions are fully assessed.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of monthly performance reports to the project lead, in line with business reporting requirements and timescales.
• Experience within a project environment supporting the Project Manager/Director
• Understanding of Project Control principles for major programmes
• Technical Competencies - Primavera P6 proficient
• The ability to build strong relationships and support colleagues Enthusiasm, ideas, and drive to grow, learn and develop within our organisation
• Understanding of the importance of timely reporting and the energy to deliver against demanding deadlines
• Experience of interacting with internal and external clients
• Initiative – ability to work with minimum supervision and make suggestions on best practice and improving current processes and procedures
• Experience in facilitating and administering multidiscipline meetings with large groups of stakeholders
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Teamwork – willingly cooperate with the others towards the same goals and objectives
