Project Controls Manager

Join our team as a Project Controls Manager, where you will play a crucial role in managing the project controls function for major infrastructure or construction programs. You will be responsible for integrating cost, schedule, risk, change, and reporting processes to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires strategic oversight, technical expertise, and leadership across multidisciplinary teams. You will also assist in managing and mentoring a team of project controls professionals, liaise with senior leadership, clients, and supply chain partners, and support program management with strategic insights.

• Establish and manage the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and implement Earned Value Management (EVM) systems.
• Lead periodic and ad-hoc reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and robustness of monthly project review packs.
• Assist in managing and mentoring a team of project controls professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills
• Professional qualifications (e.g., APM, PMI, or similar) are highly desirable
• Adaptable to fast-paced and complex project environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Familiarity with NEC contracts and UK construction standards
• Strong knowledge of cost, schedule, risk, and change management
• Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement
• Proficiency in project controls software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, cost tools)
• Proven experience in project controls on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
• Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams
