Senior Planner

Join our Minerals & Metals Department as a Senior Planner. In this role, you will lead the development of the overall project planning and scheduling strategy, ensuring full schedule integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. You will provide clear insights to project directors, senior management, and clients regarding schedule risks and opportunities. Additionally, you will evaluate schedule impacts of scope changes and provide technical leadership to junior and intermediate planners. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for engineering, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling is necessary.

• Lead the development of the overall project planning and scheduling strategy, ensuring full schedule integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Provide clear, actionable insights to Project Directors, senior management, and clients regarding schedule risks and opportunities, and evaluate the schedule impacts of scope changes.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior and intermediate planners, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong expertise in critical path analysis, Earned Value Management (EVM), schedule risk analysis, and delay analysis methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in Engineering is preferred
• Proven ability to work effectively and confidently with clients, executive stakeholders, and project leadership teams. Written and spoken bilingualism in French and English is considered a significant asset
• 10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling. Previous experience supporting EPCM projects is considered a strong asset
• Previous experience working on mining and metallurgy projects
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, with strong knowledge of integrated project controls systems and processes
