About The Role

Join our team as a Hardware Design Engineer, where you will design, analyze, develop, modify, and evaluate electrical/electronic parts and components for cutting-edge routing platforms. You will be involved in product development from concept to mass production and customer support, collaborating with various engineering teams and external component suppliers.   • Concevoir, analyser, développer, modifier et évaluer des pièces, composants, sous-systèmes, algorithmes ou circuits intégrés pour des équipements électriques/électroniques.
  • Participer au développement de produits de la conception à la production de masse et au support client, en étant responsable de la conception et des tests matériels.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes d'ingénierie matérielle, y compris l'intégrité du signal, l'alimentation, la thermique, la conception de PCB, pour assurer la qualité et la fiabilité des produits.
  • Experience with design and debug of boards with interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, clocks
  • Solid proficiency in electrical circuit and schematic design
  • Awareness of PCB stackup techniques for multiple-layer, high speed printed circuit boards
  • Knowledge of systems design considerations from several of the following angles: software, firmware, BIOS, PCB layout, signal integrity, mechanical, thermal, power, EMI compliance, manufacturability, testability, MTBF and COGS
  • Excellent communication skills in a cross-functional team environment
  • 4+ years of experience with board design
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Hands-on experience and skilled debugging proficiency using lab measurement equipment (high speed oscilloscope)
  • Strong passion for building hardware projects, solving challenging problems and intrinsically curious about how things work
  • Role requires 2+ days a week in Sunnyvale office
  • Experience with high speed SerDes and high speed memory interfaces
  • Experience with embedded CPU and SoC subsystems
  • Strong Python programming and scripting skills
  • Experience using Cadence Allegro PCB Designer layout tool and Cadence System Capture schematic capture tool
  • Understanding of routing, switching and pluggable optics (QSFP-DD, OSFP)
  • Familiarity with FPGA operation, debug and Verilog
  • Hands-on experience testing complex L2/L3 products with Ethernet packet generators such as Keysight/Ixia or Viavi/Spirent
  • Experience in a Unix/Linux environment
