Principal Product Manager (Cloud Service Provider Products)

Join HPE's Private Cloud team as a Principal Product Manager, where you'll define and execute the product strategy for Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). You'll have a visible technical impact on the product, apply innovative ideas to solve complex problems, and provide technical leadership for significant projects. You'll work closely with CSP customers, strategic partners, field teams, and engineering to identify product gaps and operational blockers, and translate CSP business and operational requirements into clear product requirements and user stories.

• The ideal candidate understands how Service Providers build, operate, and monetize multi-tenant cloud platforms and has deep familiarity with virtualization, IaaS, managed services, and hybrid cloud operations. VMware Cloud Provider (VCPP), MSP, or CSP industry experience is strongly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field
• VMware Cloud Provider / VCPP experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of virtualization, hybrid cloud, and multi-tenant infrastructure platforms
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, highly ambiguous environments
• Strong customer engagement and cross-functional leadership skills
• Experience with agile product management tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience working with CSPs, MSPs, hosting providers, or managed service environments strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of CSP operational models and managed services
• Ability to influence engineering and business stakeholders without direct authority
• Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry
• Experience with cloud platforms such as VMware, OpenStack, Nutanix, Kubernetes, or public cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud orchestration, networking, DR, and infrastructure automation
• 10+ years of experience in product management, cloud platforms, virtualization, or service provider technologies
