About The Role

Join our Routing Infrastructure Solutions (RAS) team as a Principal Product Manager. In this role, you will lead the strategy and operational roadmap for the ACX product portfolio, define product requirements, build value propositions, and partner with engineering on feasibility and delivery. You will also manage the product configuration mix, margins, and Go-To-Market strategies. This position requires deep technical hardware expertise, business acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy and operational roadmap for the ACX product portfolio, acting as a recognized internal authority in the Routing Infrastructure Solutions team.
  • Define and drive product requirements for use cases across Access & Aggregation, Edge Services, Core, Peering, and DCE/DCI, and stay ahead of industry roadmaps to drive disruptive WAN solutions.
  • Partner with Engineering on feasibility, planning, and delivery, and manage the product configuration mix, margins, and Go-To-Market strategies to optimize revenue and market share.
  • This role requires a unique blend of deep technical hardware expertise, business acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional engineering and field teams
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-detection skills within ambiguous, high-stakes projects
  • Strong knowledge of transport technologies including MPLS, RSVP-TE, SR-MPLS, and SRv6
  • Deep expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, LDP, and PCEP
  • Deep knowledge of Service Provider, Enterprise, and Cloud networking technologies and industry trends
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff on product-specific technical training
  • Experience with L2/L3 services including Ethernet, VXLAN, MAC, Bridge domain, L2VPN, and L3VPN
  • Understanding of L2/L3 underlay and overlay architectures
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or Advanced Engineering degree preferred)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across engineering, field, and business teams
  • Typically, 10+ years of related work experience, specifically managing a hardware portfolio and high-complexity New Product Introductions (NPI)
  • Familiarity with management and security technologies such as Netconf, gRPC, Open Config, Streaming Telemetry, SNMP, RPKI, IPSEC, and MACSEC
  • Extensive experience in cost-efficient solution building and financial performance analysis
