About The Role

Join our in-house legal team as an Associate General Counsel. You will manage a lease portfolio across multiple European jurisdictions, providing legal support to our operations, finance, and asset management teams. This hands-on role requires deep legal expertise and a passion for process improvement and legal tech. You will oversee the post-signing management of lease agreements, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and act as the primary legal contact for various teams. Additionally, you will support day-to-day legal requests, manage disputes and litigation, and contribute to process optimization and legal tech implementation.

  • Übernahme der Verantwortung für ein Portfolio von Mietverträgen in mehreren europäischen Jurisdiktionen, einschließlich der Überwachung und Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller vertraglichen Verpflichtungen.
  • Führung von Verhandlungen und Erstellung von mietvertraglichen Vereinbarungen, einschließlich Änderungen, Untervermietungen und Nebenabreden, sowie Übersetzung vertraglicher Bestimmungen in praktische betriebliche Anleitungen.
  • Entwicklung und Implementierung von Richtlinien, Handbüchern und standardisierten Prozessen zur Gewährleistung einer konsistenten und skalierbaren Handhabung rechtlicher Angelegenheiten.
  • Fluent in English and German or another European language; additional European languages are a plus
  • Interest in process improvement, legal tech, and AI
  • Experience in commercial real estate law, in particular lease agreements (ideally in a hospitality context)
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, gained in private practice or in-house
  • Solid experience working with commercial leases in at least one core jurisdiction (preferably Germany, the UK, or Spain)
  • Structured, hands-on, and able to manage high-volume workflows in a fast-paced environment
  • Fully qualified German lawyer, Wirtschaftsjurist, or equivalent legal qualification from another European or UK jurisdiction, or an LL.M
  • Strong communication skills and a business-oriented mindset
