Staff Engineer

Join numa, a fast-growing tech startup in the hospitality industry. As a Staff Engineer, you will own corporate-focused functionality across the numa ecosystem, drive cross-team improvements, and serve as a lead engineer for initiatives spanning multiple verticals. • Assumer la responsabilité de la fonctionnalité axée sur les entreprises au sein de l'écosystème numa, en prenant en charge à la fois la direction technique et la livraison pratique.
• Construire et piloter des améliorations à l'échelle de l'équipe, de bout en bout, pour les clients d'entreprise et les agents de réservation, en partenariat avec les équipes qui possèdent les domaines de produits pertinents.
• Servir de leader technique pour les initiatives qui s'étendent sur plusieurs verticales, systèmes et interfaces utilisateur, en connectant les équipes, les systèmes et les chemins de code.
• Good judgment in balancing speed, scalability, maintainability, and consistency when delivering solutions that span multiple verticals
• 6+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience, with a strong track record of owning and delivering complex product improvements end to end
• Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to identify gaps, surface dependencies and risks early, and maintain momentum in ambiguous, cross-team problem spaces
• Strong experience with Node.js and API design, including designing solutions that integrate cleanly across multiple systems and domains
• Strong experience with testing strategies, preferably including Storybook or @testing-library, MSW, and supertest
• AI-Native Engineer with a solid understanding of Agentic Engineering - you don’t just vibe code, you are able to confidently leverage agents to achieve your goals
• Proven ability to independently drive technical solutions from problem framing through implementation, coordinating effectively across multiple teams and codebases where needed
• Strong experience with Next.js, TypeScript, React, React Native, and CSS, with the ability to build high-quality user-facing experiences across complex product surfaces

• Solid understanding of IaC, experience with SST, is a plus
• Strong experience with Serverless and Event Driven Architecture, preferably AWS focused
• Excellent communication and technical stakeholder management skills
