Director of Finance

Join our team as the Director of Finance, where you will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance function of our company. You will work closely with the CEO and other leadership team members to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, while also managing financial operations and delivering management and board reporting. This is a hands-on role that requires exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Exceptional analytical skills — able to drill into the weeds (commission-level detail) while maintaining a strategic lens
• Comfortable being the sole finance owner: managing an outsourced accounting firm rather than a big internal team, and doing the work yourself when needed
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• 7+ years of strategic finance (FP&A) experience ideally in high-growth startup finance
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, working collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders (carriers, accountants, investors)
• Bonus: experience with insurance, brokerage, or commission-based revenue models, foundation in management consulting or investment banking
