Director of Litigation EMEA

Join Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) as the Director of Litigation EMEA. In this role, you will be the primary counsel for SIE in the EMEA region, handling a broad range of litigation matters and working closely with the global Litigation, Competition, and Regulatory team. You will report to the Vice President, Litigation, IP, Competition, and Regulatory, and will be expected to coordinate activities across SIE’s business, corporate, and legal functions globally.

• Vous serez responsable de la coordination des activités de SIE à l'échelle mondiale, en développant et en mettant en œuvre des processus internes pour soutenir la conformité aux obligations réglementaires.
• Having substantial experience working as part of global litigation team on behalf of a multinational company would be beneficial, but not necessary
• 15+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) with substantial experience leading complex litigation matters, alongside additional exposure to advising on competition and/or regulatory issues within large-scale, complex environments
• Qualified lawyer in the UK with experience of working across jurisdictions in EMEA or globally
• An excellent understanding of litigation risk and a strategic and commercial mindset
• Data-driven mentality and ability to identify and recommend the best course of action even in ambiguous situations
• Substantial experience advising clients responding to subpoenas, RFIs, CIDs, and interview requests from competition authorities and other regulatory agencies
• A keen working understanding of policy-making processes and government relations
• An understanding of competition law and principles, and the ability to efficiently review, interpret, and analyse sophisticated legal information
