Public Relations Manager

Join the SIE Global Communications team as a Public Relations Manager, based in London, UK. In this role, you will support PR strategy and execution for PlayStation's exclusive games, driving impactful media coverage across gaming and entertainment media. You will develop comprehensive global PR plans, coordinate efforts with local PR teams and agencies, build relationships with media and influencers, and create written materials to support game launches. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of public relations experience, strong media relations experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

• Support and implement global PR strategy for PlayStation’s exclusive games, focusing on measurable media return on investment.
• Develop comprehensive, fully global PR plans and manage key tactics, such as media outreach, messaging development, event coordination, and coverage reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with credible media and influencers, securing compelling coverage with a particular focus on mainstream media.
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of public relations experience, ideally working with consumer-facing brands or products
• Experience working on online multiplayer game campaigns is a plus
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Slack, AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot, etc
• Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal
• Experience managing projects and the ability to work collaboratively with others across a large global organization
• Strong media relations experience with various outlets across consumer, technology, and business press
• Experience working for or with an external PR agency is preferred; in-house PR experience is a plus
• Skilled in handling multiple projects with the ability to work effectively across a large distributed team environment
