Senior Design Program Manager (UX Design)

Join PlayStation as a Senior Design Program Manager in our UX Design Operations team. In this role, you will partner with designers, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to bring design initiatives to life. You will drive execution within the PlayStation Partners team, support planning and prioritization of design work, and ensure the delivery of high-quality user experiences. You will also cultivate design thinking, advocate for user-centered design, and continuously refine operational processes. • Partnership with cross-functional teams to bring design initiatives to life, from planning through launch.
• Driving execution within the PlayStation Partners team, supporting planning, prioritization, and coordination of design work.
• Championing design excellence by cultivating design thinking, leading workshops, and advocating for user-centered design.
• You excel at the intersection of design and execution. Passionate about crafting systems that improve how teams collaborate, with a strong ability to bring transparency to multiple moving pieces. You understand building processes, B2B strategies and are motivated to develop systems that help teams perform at their highest level!
• You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, running multiple workstreams, and adapting as priorities evolve, all while maintaining momentum. People trust you because you communicate clearly, follow through, and approach challenges with an open perspective
• You understand Design and what Designers need to be successful. You are a strategic partner to driving the work, not just the process. You know that Design Operations is more than tools and tracking - it's about developing solutions that get to the root of the problem!
• Passion for user experience and design with an understanding of the product development process
• Experience raising issues, anticipating and making trade-offs, balance the business need versus other constraints and improve business benefit while building exceptional user experiences
• Relationship and trust building – develop strong partnerships to guide, inform, or support efforts; demonstrate partnership, curiosity, humility and positivity and possess strong conflict resolution with a diverse range of partners
• Experience working across multifaceted problem spaces, and ask the right questions to arrive at better solutions with broader business priorities in mind
• Track record of delivering large-scale design programs and projects, preferably working in partnership with product, engineering, and technical program managers
• Experience working in continuous delivery environments where the pace is fast and priorities can shift quickly
• Strong communication, with the ability to articulate design and technical requirements clearly, and develop strategic comms to various partner groups
• You model a growth mindset by actively seeking feedback, and delivering feedback to others in a clear, supportive, and constructive way that supports shared success
• 6+ years of design program management experience in technology, design, or creative environments, with proven experience in Enterprise / B2B software products
