Head of IT

Join Aerospike, a leading database company, as the Head of IT. In this role, you will lead the IT function end-to-end, making architecture decisions and overseeing day-to-day operations and helpdesk. You will manage a team of 2-3 IT professionals, set IT priorities, and report directly to executive leadership. Additionally, you will own IT governance practices, manage the IT budget, and serve as the IT lead on cross-functional initiatives.

• Lead the IT function end-to-end, including ownership of architecture decisions and hands-on leadership of day-to-day operations.
• Manage a team of IT professionals, set IT priorities, and report directly to executive leadership on IT initiatives and performance.
• Oversee IT operations, including helpdesk operations, employee onboarding and offboarding logistics, and endpoint hardware lifecycle management.
• Experience at a hybrid company preferred, given Aerospike's distributed workforce
• Experience owning IT architecture decisions for business-critical systems
• 8-12 years in IT roles, including 3-5 years managing a team
• Direct experience running a helpdesk function at a company of comparable size, including ticketing systems and SLA management
• Comfort operating with a small team and building process
• Experience managing vendor relationships and mitigating sprawl in growing organizations
