About The Role
Join Progeny, a leading financial services firm, as a Financial Planner in our Progeny Compass team. In this virtual role, you will provide effective financial planning for clients with AUM between £150k and £400k, and/or less complex financial planning needs. You will be supported by colleagues in T&C, Compliance, and Regional Management, and will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and expertise while working towards the Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.

- We are seeking someone with excellent client service experience, who possesses the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, and can demonstrate their experience working within paraplanning as well as providing financial advisory solutions to clients
- The successful individual will be prepared to continue their studies to achieve Chartered Status should this not be currently held
- Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (desirable)
- Diploma in Financial Planning
- Experience of using research tools
- Ability to interpret complex planning and explain it clearly and concisely to clients and in reports
- Be able to understand and interpret a cash flow forecast and summarise the key points
- Demonstrate drive and commitment to self-development
- Excellent working knowledge of key areas of financial planning and advice including investment planning, pre/at retirement planning, personal and business protection; and estate planning
- Demonstrate strong analytical and research skills
- Proficient in Microsoft packages such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
- Actively seek to enhance own expertise and knowledge
- Be able to work under pressure to deadlines, ensuring accuracy and high levels of attention to detail at all times
- Display a professional approach to work and colleagues, i.e. professional appearance, respect of individuals and ethical conduct
- Experienced in building and maintaining excellent client and internal relationships
- Experience of using cash flow modelling tools
- Ability to calculate figures and compile data
- Proven experience in a paraplanning and a client facing advisory role
- Effectively manage projects and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Knowledge and understanding of FCA conduct of business rules and suitability requirements
