Senior Director of FP&A (xScale)

Join Equinix, a global leader in digital infrastructure. As the Senior Director of FP&A for our xScale business, you will lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management. You will work closely with senior leadership and various teams to drive an integrated financial view and provide actionable insights. This role requires extensive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment finance, as well as a strong understanding of capital-intensive industries.

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for Equinix’s xScale business, ensuring alignment between growth strategy and operational performance.
• Drive performance reporting across revenue, NOI, capex, and return metrics, providing actionable insights on business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, developing talent, establishing clear roles and accountability, and fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration.
• Experience in capital-intensive industries (e.g., infrastructure, real estate, data centers, or similar) strongly preferred
• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment finance
• Experience working with senior executives and contributing to strategic decision-making
• Proven track record of supporting complex, global, and multi-entity environments (e.g., joint ventures, partnerships)
• High level of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail
• Ability to balance speed and rigor in a high-growth environment
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience with hyperscale infrastructure, data centers, or telecom
• Familiarity with JV structures, asset monetization, and investor reporting
• Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
• Experience working in a global organization across AMER, EMEA, and APAC
• Strong executive communication skills (written and verbal)
• Deep understanding of planning processes, forecasting methodologies, and performance management
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a highly matrixed organization
• Capability to connect strategy, financials, and execution into a coherent narrative
• Experience driving process improvement and scalable operating models
