Staff Engineer (Product Software)

Join Equinix's Software Architecture & Engineering team as a Staff Engineer. You will be responsible for the design, development, and support of software products and solutions, collaborating with product management and clients to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements. You will oversee all stages of product creation, participate in Scrum meetings, and monitor product progress. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, 6+ years of software development experience, and a solid understanding of AI concepts.

• Should have good knowledge of Agile/Scrum, continuous integration, and deployment
• Disciplined approach to unit testing and TDD where appropriate
• Experience using RDBMS such as Postgres, Oracle, etc
• DevOps and CI/CD work experience and knowledge will be a plus
• Agile-scrum methodology experience in a software development team
• Work experience and knowledge of REST API development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in working closely with product management and/or clients
• Solid understanding of AI, LLMs, Agentic AI concepts and applying them at work
• 6+ years of software development working experience with 5+ years of working experience in Java and Java Spring framework
• Work experience in messaging service like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
• Hands-on experience with K8S, docker, and a good understanding of virtualization technologies
• Hands-on experience with public clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
