Business Development Senior Specialist (German Speaker)

Join Symphony, a leading provider of secure communication and collaboration solutions. As a Business Development Senior Specialist, you will drive revenue growth in the DACH region, focusing on acquiring new clients and expanding our presence in under-penetrated accounts. You will navigate complex sales cycles, articulate our value propositions to senior stakeholders, and leverage your local network to build a strong pipeline. This role requires native or bilingual fluency in German, deep local market knowledge, and experience in enterprise software/SaaS sales.

• Identifying, qualifying, and closing high-value new logos across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
• Running the entire sales cycle in German, from cold outreach and initial discovery to technical demonstration, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Effectively articulating Symphony's complex security, data sovereignty, and compliance value propositions to C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• A True Hunter Mindset: A proven history of securing new business logos from scratch, rather than managing established, mature accounts
• Complex Deal Navigation: Experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving local IT, InfoSec, Compliance, Legal, and Procurement teams
• 7+ years of Enterprise Software/SaaS sales experience, with a documented track record of carrying and exceeding an individual quota (ideally €1M+ / CHF 1M+ ARR)
• Native or bilingual fluency in German, with excellent professional English
• Deep Local Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of business etiquette, buying behaviors, and the corporate landscape in Germany and Switzerland
• Vertical Expertise: Deep, existing relationships and experience selling technology solutions directly into the German/Swiss Wealth Management, Private Banking, and/or Insurance sectors
• Understanding of European financial compliance regulations (e.g., BaFin guidelines, FINMA regulations, MiFID II, and GDPR)
