About The Role
Join Oscar Health as an Insurance Product and Emerging Product Innovation Associate. In this role, you will support the development, execution, and optimization of innovative health solutions across Oscar's Individual and Family Plan (IFP) product portfolio. You will work cross-functionally to support product strategy, market research, member engagement initiatives, and lifecycle management activities. You will report to the Vice President of Insurance Product Innovation and Development.
- Support the development, execution, and optimization of innovative health solutions across Oscar’s Individual and Family Plan (IFP) product portfolio.
- Analyze and translate market research, competitive data sets, and performance assessments to support product strategy recommendations.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs across product, regulatory, actuarial, compliance, operational, and growth teams to support alignment and execution.
- Demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Strong written and verbal skills, with ability to navigate ambiguity and support execution in fast-paced environments
- 3+ years of experience in product, analytics, strategy, consulting, or insurance-related roles
- Experience operating in cross-functional, fast-paced environments
- Experience with ACA marketplace, individual and family plan (IFP), and small group sponsored insurance products
- Experience supporting product lifecycle initiatives, product launches, or operational implementation efforts
- Familiarity with QHP product filing processes and regulatory requirements
- Exposure to member engagement, rewards, wellness, or incentive programs
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance environments
- MBA, MHA, MPH or advanced degree
