Manager of Data Analytics

Join our team as the Manager of Data Analytics, where you will work collaboratively to solve complex data issues and drive the scoping and execution of analytical requests. You will have the opportunity to work independently and with customers and teammates to fully understand data-related issues. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in SQL, experience in healthcare or finance, and a background in developing dashboards and working with business intelligence tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex data issues, ensuring effective communication and understanding of technical concepts.
• Drive the scoping and execution of analytical requests, working with stakeholders to define key questions, scope methodologies, and deliver results.
• Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development and ensuring high-quality work output.
• 5+ examples/projects of strong communication skills, verbal and written, around business reporting impact and requirements
• 1+ years experience, including proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel skills, with ability to use VLookup, nested if statements and connected Sheets
• 3+ years experience in SQL, with the ability to build CTEs, handle complex joins and leverage aggregations and window statements
• 1+ years experience in healthcare, finance or the insurance industry
• 1+ years experience developing dashboards and working with Looker, or other business intelligence/data visualization tools
• 2+ years demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and distill analyses into relevant insights with a structured and systematic thought process
• 2 + years of direct people management experience
• 4+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports
• 2+ years experience in preparing healthcare analytics, reporting, and data management
• Experience with ticketing system (such as Jira)
• Proficiency in R or Python, including experience with Pandas, for loops, and statistical tests
