Senior Tax Accountant

Join Oscar, a health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for income tax compliance, supporting federal, state, and local tax return processes, and assisting with tax planning and projects. You will report to the Associate Director of Tax and work closely with various areas of Finance and the business.

• Préparer les déclarations fiscales fédérales, étatiques et locales et les estimations pour la société holding et les filiales d'assurance.
• Effectuer des analyses de nexus d'État et préparer les taxes de vente et d'utilisation, ainsi que d'autres taxes indirectes.
• Travailler avec les différentes équipes financières et commerciales pour soutenir d'autres projets de conformité et de planification fiscale.
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting or 4 years commensurate experience
• 4+ years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience in a corporate tax department
• Experience with preparation of the corporate tax provision
• CPA and/ or Master's of Taxation
• Insurance experience
• Statement of Statutory Accounting Principle (SSAP) 101 tax reporting
• Experience implementing tax provision software
