About The Role

Join Oscar Health as a Strategic Finance Associate. In this role, you will support financial planning, analytics, and business insights for the company. You will work closely with finance leaders, create new reporting and analytical insights, and craft recommendations for senior executives. You will also collaborate with various teams to develop portfolio strategies and monitor important metrics. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of finance experience, proficiency in Google and Microsoft products, and experience working with C-level executives.

Support financial planning, analytics, and business insights for the business, working with Finance leaders on business reviews and projections.
Create new reporting and analytical insights to ensure visibility into business spending patterns, projections, and present findings to leadership.
Craft recommendations using a data-driven approach combined with business intuition for senior executives to make pricing decisions that influence growth.
4+ years of finance experience including experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance or Financial Services
2+ years of experience with google products - Sheets, Docs and Slides or Microsoft products
2+ years of experience working with C-level executives
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial or equivalent work experience
Proficiency working with NetSuite and Adaptive
Proficiency in SQL/BigQuery to analyze large datasets
MBA in finance, MS in Financial Analysis
Experience in the managed care, healthcare or insurance
