About The Role
Join Tabs, a fast-growing tech startup, as a Solutions Consultant in New York. In this role, you will play a key part in our pre-sales process, working closely with finance and accounting leaders to demonstrate the capabilities of the Tabs platform. You will manage pre-sales projects, support the Go-to-Market team, and provide guidance on integrating Tabs into clients' tech stack. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 4+ years of experience, exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of commercial dynamics.
- Partner closely with finance and accounting leaders to demonstrate the capabilities of the Tabs platform, focusing on solving business problems and articulating end-to-end workflows.
- Manage pre-sales projects, ensuring the feasibility of proposed solutions and conducting proof-of-concept development in close collaboration with the Implementation team at Tabs.
- Support the Go-to-Market team by offering a consultative and solutions-oriented approach in meetings with prospects, and translating those solutions into workflow maps, implementation proposals and other materials and assets.
- Bonus points for experience in order to cash processes and / or commercial proposals
- 4+ years of overall experience, ideally with Big 4, management consulting or direct accounting experience at a tech start up
- Exceptional Communicator – Excellent presentation skills, evidenced by an ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences both verbally and visually
- Autonomy – Can successfully operate autonomously, and is experienced with capturing and communicating representative metrics and results
- Customer EQ – Genuinely interested in learning about prospects, their businesses, and their challenges. Ability to connect with users/buyers and take a consultative approach to solving customers’ needs
- Commercial Savvy – Strong understanding of commercial dynamics and stakeholder management
- Curious & Intelligent – Ability to turn curiosity into knowledge; to synthesize and distill lots of disparate information; to master a new and complex subject or product
- Familiarity with how systems like ERPs or CRMs integrate in a complex technology stack and be able to drive technical consultative partnership with CFOs and Controllers
- Bonus points for experience in accounting, either as a CPA or prior experience working directly with accountants/controllers
