About The Role

Join TFD as a Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting. In this critical role, you will be responsible for producing financial statements, management reporting packages, and technical accounting memos. You will monitor the month-end close checklist, compile monthly fluctuation analysis reporting, and serve as the primary liaison for the annual audit. You will also support the development and maintenance of the company's accounting policies and procedures, embrace AI tool adoption, and proactively identify opportunities for business efficiency.

  • Draft quarterly and annual financial statements, monitor the month-end close checklist, and compile monthly fluctuation analysis reporting.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the annual audit of the Company’s financial statements, managing audit requests and leading the coordination with external auditors.
  • Proactively identify opportunities in current workflows, develop and implement internal processes that drive business efficiency both for financial reporting and across general accounting.
  • You are able to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, naturally curious and proactive self-starter, constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and solutions
  • You’re an owner, have excellent problem-solving skills and can prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail
  • You have demonstrated experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting packages, including variance/fluctuation analysis
  • You have experience with ERP and financial close management systems; NetSuite and FloQast experience preferred
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • You have a strong understanding of US GAAP, with experience researching technical accounting issues and preparing position papers
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, with a minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience or with a public company, preferably within the financial reporting function
  • You are detail-oriented and proactive, you thrive as a self-starter and excel in managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • You're a skilled communicator and have the ability to absorb and distill complexity into simple terms to drive decision making
  • You have a collaborative attitude, with proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
