About The Role

Join TruckSmarter, a collaborative startup in the freight industry, as a Mobile Engineer. You will design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms using React Native. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to align on requirements and deliver solutions. You will also make crucial architectural decisions that will impact feature development for years to come. Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms using React Native.
Provide guidance on mobile app best practices, coding standards, and new technologies, and review code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to align on requirements and deliver solutions.
3 - 7 years of experience building frontend applications that are used by a significant number of users
Experience with mobile design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM, VIPER), modern architecture, and best practices
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proficiency with technologies such as React Native/Flutter, React, and Next.js
Prior experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the capability to drive cross-functional requirements with business, product, operations and engineering teams
