About The Role

Join our team as a Senior Cloud Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in the strategy and development of our cloud infrastructure and security. You will design, architect, and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions, mentor junior cloud engineers, and act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes. You should have extensive experience with cloud infrastructure services, strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Design, architect, and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Lead infrastructure and cloud-related projects, gathering requirements, analyzing them, and technically leading the project.
  • Mentor junior cloud engineers, act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes, and help engineering teams troubleshoot.
  • Expert Kubernetes knowledge
  • Able to gather requirements at all levels, analyze them and proceed to the design, planning and lead technically the project
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms especially Azure
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices
  • Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure services: Virtualization, networking, storage, compute services, etc
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE or similar role
  • Strong understanding of cloud platform security features (specific to chosen platform)
  • Proven experience designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills: Ability to work effectively with other engineers and stakeholders
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Strong scripting skills: Python, shell, etc
  • Leadership and mentoring skills: Ability to lead and mentor junior cloud engineers
  • A passion for cloud and staying current with the latest advancements
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and solve complex cloud-related problems
  • Strong Linux knowledge
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, etc.)
