Solutions Engineer (German Speaker)

Join Global-e, a leading cross-border eCommerce platform, as a Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will support our Sales, Project, Product, and R&D teams, conduct technical discussions with online retailers and brands, and lead technology and integration tracks. You will also provide ongoing education and technical assistance to current partners and integrate clients. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in solution design/integration, a strong understanding of systems integration concepts, and excellent communication skills.

• Lead the technology and integration tracks in meetings with clients, providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Act as a technical focal point for integrating clients, demonstrating and prototyping integrations in merchant environments.
• Provide ongoing education and technical assistance to current partners and integrate clients, ensuring successful implementation of solutions.
• 3+ years experience in solution design / integration with direct client interaction, in SaaS-based environment - solutions engineer role preferred
• Established problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
• Previous experience in eCommerce and Logistics/Operations environment is a strong advantage
• BA/BS/Master degree in Computer Science or another technical field
• Ability to learn and work with varying technological environments (including emerging technologies), methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT Technology space
• Firm understanding of systems integration concepts, API implementation (RESTful services) and relational databases (SQL)
• Experience in close working interactions with distant teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver a solution pitch and convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to multitask and work well under deadlines in a changing environment
