Senior Backend Engineer (Product Team)

Join AppFollow, a rapidly growing company in the app management industry. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our product, contributing to AI-management technologies, and supporting internal and public APIs. You will work closely with other developers to design and improve the entire system architecture, and collaborate with the Platform team to ensure smooth operation. This is a fully remote position.

• Contribuer au développement et à l'optimisation des fonctionnalités du produit AppFollow, en particulier celles liées à l'analyse et à la gestion des évaluations et des avis d'applications.
• Participer à la conception, à la construction, à la maintenance et à la documentation d'une base de code efficace, testable, fiable, sécurisée et évolutive.
• Collaborer avec d'autres développeurs pour concevoir et améliorer l'architecture du système dans son ensemble, en interagissant avec les services hérités.
• Experience with NoSQL DBs (MongoDB)
• 5+ years of software development experience in backend
• Strong SQL skills, particularly in MySQL or PostgreSQL, Experience with ORM frameworks (preferably SQLAlchemy
• 3+ years of asyncio experience in Python development
• Proficiency in FastAPI for API endpoint development
• Experience with message-brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Upper intermediate English proficiency
• Experience with unit testing (Pytest)
• Experience with ML projects (NLP with LLMs)
• Experience with integration with big LLMs (development of assistants, RAG, etc)
• Experience with vector storage DBs
• Experience with cloud-based services (AWS)
• Experience in data processing pipelines and automation (e.g. Airflow, prefect)
• Experience with RND projects
