Senior Solutions Engineer

Join LaunchDarkly as a Senior Solutions Engineer, where you will be a trusted technical advisor to our largest and most important Enterprise prospects and customers. This role is critical to our Enterprise sales strategy, and you will drive technical discovery, architecture design, and PoC implementation throughout the pre-sales lifecycle. You will partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to craft compelling technical value propositions, deliver high-impact demonstrations, and cultivate trust and credibility with customers. Additionally, you will liaise between customers and internal Product and Engineering teams, lead cross-regional technical initiatives, and mentor junior team members.

• Drive technical discovery, architecture design, and PoC implementation throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
• Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to craft compelling technical value propositions.
• Cultivate trust and credibility with customers, identifying technical champions and positioning as a strategic advisor.
• The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in supporting multiple verticals
• An ideal candidate is curious, excels in active listening, quickly and effectively builds custom demos and solutions, and demonstrates profound technical expertise with a customer-centric focus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated history of presenting thought leadership to the broader industry
• Experience with security and compliance frameworks PII, PCI, HIPAA, is a bonus
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, expertise in at least one (e.g., AWS, Azure & Google Cloud)
• 50% travel required
• Demonstrated excellence in leading & documenting a proof of concept and building technical & deal champions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or systems architecture customer-facing role
• Experience in areas such as the SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps
