Senior Backend Engineer (Security Controls)

In this role, you will drive the technical vision for EDR telemetry and detection, develop core product features, design and implement backend APIs, and build and maintain ETL pipelines. • Conduire la vision technique pour la télémétrie EDR et la détection au sein de NodeZero, en influençant directement l'évolution de l'efficacité et du réglage de l'EDR.
• Développer des fonctionnalités clés du produit dans l'ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) et GraphQL pour soutenir le traitement et la récupération des données.
• Collaborer avec les membres de l'équipe frontend pour présenter les données de manière claire et conviviale, améliorant ainsi l'expérience utilisateur du produit.
• Effective communication and collaboration with designers, developers, and product managers
• Ability to own and manage concurrent initiatives, demonstrating effective judgment in prioritization and time management
• A strong desire to continuously improve and learn new technologies in a fast-paced Agile development environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, attention to detail and high-quality work
• Ability and interest in mentoring junior and mid-level engineers to foster their growth and development
• Strong technical documentation ability to support the development process
• Driven, self-managed, capable of conceiving and implementing solutions on your own and with a team
• 7+ yrs professional software engineering experience using modern object-oriented or functional languages (Python, Java, Go, Scala, C++, TypeScript, etc)
• Experience building applications on cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Expert proficiency in SQL
• Expert proficiency in SQL and experience with various database architectures including relational (PostgreSQL) and graph (Neo4j)
• Experience building GraphQL backends
• Understands detection logic, alert triage workflows, and how SOC teams consume EDR output
• Deep familiarity with at least one major EDR platform (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender) at the telemetry and API level
