Avionics Test Engineer

Join our team as an Avionics Test Engineer, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and flight readiness of satellite avionics hardware. You will design test interface boards, embed design-for-test practices, and plan and execute board-level testing. This position requires a strong background in hardware test engineering, experience with satellite or spacecraft avionics hardware, and proficiency in test automation scripting.

• Conception et développement de cartes d'interface de test (TIB) pour la vérification fonctionnelle, environnementale et de performance des cartes.
• Planification et exécution des tests au niveau de la carte pour les modèles d'ingénierie (EM) et les modèles de qualification (QM).
• Collaboration avec les ingénieurs de conception pour rédiger des normes de test et améliorer la testabilité des conceptions.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, VNAs)
• Strong skills in test automation scripting (Python, LabVIEW, or equivalent)
• Hands-on lab experience with board bring-up, rework, and instrumentation
• 4+ years of experience in hardware test engineering for aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience with root-cause analysis and structured debugging methodologies
• Experience designing test fixtures and test interface boards
• Experience testing satellite or spacecraft avionics hardware through EM/QM/FM qualification cycles
• Background in environmental testing (thermal cycling, vibration, shock)
• Familiarity with DFT methodologies and testability analysis during design phase
• Experience with JTAG-based test and debug
• Knowledge of IPC workmanship standards and ESD-safe handling practices
• Experience with data acquisition systems and automated test equipment (ATE)
