Senior Mechanical Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where you will play a critical role in designing and manufacturing satellite structures and mechanisms. You will have ownership of your hardware and be involved throughout the satellite build process. This position requires expertise in CAD modeling (SolidWorks) and experience with mechanical design for extreme environments. A bachelor's degree in engineering and 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience are required.

• Design and manufacture satellite structures and mechanisms, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
• Manage CAD assemblies and drawings, and develop build documents and drawings for hardware.
• Define, build, and test designs from 3D printed engineering units to flight hardware, supporting fabrication assembly and testing.
• Experience with mechanical design to survive extreme environments and challenging mass constraints
• Successfully implemented your design solutions in a complex environment
• Experience working on complex satellite/space systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace or equivalent real-world design and build experience
• 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience using your CAD skills to develop and build models and drawings
