About The Role

Join Qventus as a Senior Developer Experience Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of integrating AI-powered developer tools into our engineering processes. This high-impact role will shape how our engineers work, accelerate our product roadmap, and set the standard for AI-native software development in healthcare. You'll champion the adoption of AI coding tools, run internal workshops, define AI-first development standards, and build intelligent automation for various stages of the software development lifecycle.

  • Champion the adoption of AI coding tools across the engineering organization, running internal workshops and enablement programs.
  • Design, build, and maintain the internal developer platform that enables teams to ship high-quality, secure software with speed and confidence.
  • Establish and track DevEx metrics, driving continuous improvement against them, and acting as a thought leader on AI coding trends.
  • Proven ability to drive cultural change — you've successfully convinced skeptical engineers to adopt new tools or workflows, and you know how to meet people where they are
  • Passion for real-world impact: you're energized by the idea that faster, smarter engineering translates directly to better patient care
  • Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript; comfortable writing backend services, CLI tools, and automation scripts
  • Systems thinker who can balance big-picture developer experience vision with the practical details of implementation
  • Deep, hands-on experience with AI coding tools — you're not just aware of them, you live in them. You have strong opinions on what works and why
  • Strong communicator — you can write a compelling internal guide just as easily as you can give a compelling demo
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in platform, DevEx, or developer tooling roles
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms (GitHub Actions, Buildkite, ArgoCD, or similar)
  • Contributions to open-source developer tooling or AI/LLM tooling projects
  • Experience building or deploying agentic coding systems — multi-step agents that write, test, review, or deploy code autonomously
  • Background in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
  • Familiarity with healthcare tech constraints — HIPAA, SOC 2, audit logging — and how to design AI tooling that respects them
