Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis

Join Flex, a rapidly scaling company, as the Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis. In this high-leverage role, you will own the company-wide FP&A function, lead annual planning, and partner on board materials. You will set the standard for forecasting rigor, planning discipline, and business partnership, while also being hands-on with the financial model. This role offers executive visibility and the opportunity to drive function-wide transformation, including the integration of AI and modern FP&A tools.

• Own the corporate financial model and consolidated forecast end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and a clear narrative behind every number.
• Lead the annual planning process from top-down targets through bottoms-up department plans, partnering closely with department leaders to land an aligned, executable plan.
• Evaluate, select, and operationalize the right FP&A tooling for a company at our stage — building an AI-enabled tech stack that enables Finance to push the envelope on iteration and velocity.
• 8–10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with operating time at both high-growth, VC-backed companies and public companies; IPO experience is a strong plus
• Exceptional project and process management skills; you bring order to ambiguity and drive cross-functional work to completion without dropped balls
• Executive presence and communication skills — comfortable presenting to the board, partnering with the C-suite, and translating complex analysis into clear recommendations
• Deep expertise in corporate financial modeling, three-statement forecasting, annual planning, and monthly FP&A operations at scale
• Player-coach mentality: willing and able to build the model yourself, and equally able to lead, develop, and elevate the people around you
• Demonstrated track record as an FP&A leader who knows what great looks like — and has built it before, not just observed it
• Genuine excitement and commitment to using AI — Claude and other tools — as a core part of how the FP&A function operates and scales; you've already integrated AI into your own workflow
• Mastery of Excel and Google Sheets, paired with strong fluency in modern FP&A platforms (Pigment, Mosaic, Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar) and a clear point of view on the right tools for a company at our stage
