Senior Marketing Manager

Join Xero, a leading global accounting software platform, as a Senior Marketing Manager. In this role, you will lead the go-to-market strategy for Canada, collaborating with various teams to drive brand awareness, product consideration, and customer conversion. You will be responsible for developing annual and quarterly plans, designing account-based marketing strategies, and partnering with product marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B marketing, exceptional communication skills, and experience with marketing automation tools.

• Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for the Canadian market, focusing on integrated marketing campaigns for national Accounting and Bookkeeping Partners as well as Small Business customers.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise sales, regional operations, and global creative teams to drive brand awareness, product consideration, and customer conversion across the region.
• Manage a dedicated regional budget, utilizing data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaign performance and balance long-term growth strategies with short-term tactical initiatives.
• You have a proven track record of designing and executing Account-Based Marketing strategies for large enterprise accounts
• You offer exceptional communication skills, with total comfort presenting to senior executives and aligning cross-functional teams
• You display a self-starter mindset with strong ownership, adaptability, and a genuine curiosity to test and learn
• You possess experience running successful co-marketing and affiliate programmes from concept through to performance analysis
• You bring a solid background in B2B marketing, specifically focused on external partner or channel marketing within SaaS, technology, or fintech sectors
• Your technical toolset includes familiarity with Salesforce, marketing automation platforms like SFMC or HubSpot, and analytics tools
