About The Role
Join Take-Two Interactive, a leading video game publisher, as a Cloud Systems Engineer. In this role, you will architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure across AWS and GCP, manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, and develop automation tooling using Python. You will also lead the design and improvement of CI/CD pipelines, monitor system performance, collaborate with various teams, mentor junior engineers, and create technical documentation. - Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure across AWS and GCP, following cloud-native best practices.
- Manage all infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, writing, reviewing, and enforcing IaC standards across the team.
- Develop and maintain automation tooling and internal platforms using Python, reducing manual toil.
- Use GitHub for pull requests, branch strategy, actions workflows, and repository management.
- Proficiency with Linux system administration, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS)
- Communicate clearly to explain complex infrastructure topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Write terraform modules, manage state, enforce policy, and review IaC PRs
- Hands-on cloud engineering experience, with significant depth in AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, EBS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and more) and working knowledge of GCP
- Experience architecting for high availability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization in a cloud-native environment
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience building or maintaining delivery pipelines
- Python is your primary scripting and automation language. You write clean, tested, maintainable code
- Familiarity with observability stacks like Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, CheckMK, or equivalent
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Background in gaming, media, or other high-throughput, latency-sensitive industries
- Knowledge of service mesh or advanced networking patterns (e.g., AWS Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, GCP VPC peering)
- Experience with cost management tooling and FinOps practices in large AWS environments
