Senior Hardware Test Engineer

As a Senior Hardware Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and production validation of our autonomous hardware kit. This hands-on position requires multidisciplinary experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as expertise in test equipment and Linux environments.

• Participate in the design and production validation of complex hardware systems, including computers and integrated sensor pods.
• Own multiple test setups involved in validation waterfalls, and support modules through environmental and vibration testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and participate in root cause and corrective action efforts.
• Multidisciplinary experience across ME/EE; expertise in one, knowledgeable in the other
• Working knowledge of test equipment, including thermal chambers, vibe tables, liquid chillers, power supplies, electronic loads, and DAQs
• Experience working in a Linux environment and with computer networking
• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Systems Engineering
• Experience conducting thermal vibe testing
• Python experience (automating repetitive tasks, analyzing data, and working within larger testing frameworks)
