Platform Verification Engineer (Software Systems)

Join our team as a Platform Verification Engineer, where you will be responsible for creating verification plans for autonomous vehicle subsystems, developing and maintaining test infrastructure, and owning the verification of autonomy platform software against requirements. You will work closely with multiple engineering teams to validate AV software releases before physical deployment and implement tools and methodologies to streamline and automate the verification processes. A strong background in systems engineering, verification and validation, and software development is required.

• Creating verification plans for autonomous vehicle subsystems based on requirements and ensuring compliance.
• Developing and maintaining test infrastructure, including simulation, Continuous Integration (CI), and analytics dashboards.
• Automating test execution and reporting, and owning the verification of autonomy platform software against requirements.
• Bachelors in an engineering discipline (MS/PhD preferred) with 3+ years of experience in automotive, robotics, or a related industry
• Knowledge of the typical autonomous vehicle stack
• Proven experience in systems engineering, verification and validation (V&V), and working with requirements and metrics
• Strong software development skills (Python, C++, or Rust) with proficiency in data analysis and statistics
• Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics and basic understanding of vehicle dynamics
• Experience in verification of complex systems
• Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions
• Experience developing and launching products in the autonomous vehicle or robotics industries
• Experience with high-fidelity simulation systems
• Experience building software systems from scratch
