Director of Financial Operations & Accounting

Join Supermetrics, a leading data integration platform, as the Director of Financial Operations & Accounting. In this role, you will lead our Accounting and Reporting teams, manage external financial reporting, treasury and cash management, audit and compliance, and oversee accounts receivable/payable and billing functions. You will also focus on financial controls, system development, regulatory compliance, and building an effective finance team. This position can be based in our Helsinki, Finland HQ or our Dublin, Ireland office.

• Lead and manage the Accounting and Reporting teams, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with Local GAAP/FAS/IFRS.
• Oversee treasury operations, source-to-pay and accounts payable processes, billing and accounts receivable, and ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and internal policies.
• Drive the digital transformation of the accounting function, identifying and automating manual bottlenecks by implementing agentic and AI-driven workflows.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g., Local GAAP, FAS, IFRS) and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems (e.g. Netsuite)
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
• Over 10 years of applicable finance experience, along with extensive experience in accounting and financial controlling
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing Finance teams
• Well-developed skills in analysis, organization, and problem-solving
• Formal Accountancy Qualification (e.g. KHT in Finland, ACA or ACCA in Ireland)
• B2B SaaS exposure
• Experience building agentic workflows or process automation using foundational AI models and workflow orchestration tooling
• Experience with close management tools such as FloQast or Stacks
• Corporate finance exposure (M&A, fundraising etc)
