Senior Development Manager (Payments)

Join Clio, a leading legal technology company, as a Senior Software Development Manager in Payments. In this role, you will lead a growing team focused on Clio's payments, capital, and financial services portfolio. You will guide the technical strategy for innovative projects, supervise and mentor engineering managers and individual contributors, and partner with leadership in Product Management and Product Design. This position is based in Toronto with a hybrid work model.

• Experienced engineering leader who's comfortable using spec-driven development, and running autonomous agents to develop, test and push code to production
• Adept at managing and mentoring high-performing teams, nurturing talent, and guiding individuals toward professional growth and development
• Growth mindset when it comes to process improvement and new technologies, especially AI
• Experienced in crafting long-term strategies and managing technical roadmaps that pave the way for future growth
• Successful running agile organizations at scale, with a sense of urgency to deliver quality software to solve customer problems
• Proven track record in scaling services and systems with experience in projects built for scalability
