Senior Security Compliance (EMEA)

About The Role

Join Clio, a leading legal technology company, as a Senior Compliance Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and automating Clio's compliance program, supporting risk mitigation, innovation in AI and product development, and instilling best practices throughout the organization. You will work cross-functionally with technology and business stakeholders, create metrics to track program effectiveness, and lead discussions on compliance changes. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and participate in vendor management and internal compliance assessments.

  • Designing and implementing Clio’s control automation initiatives, and ongoing auditing and reporting on Clio’s compliance program state.
  • Working on cross-functional technology and business stakeholders to develop practices and outcomes that are aligned with our compliance objectives.
  • Leading or conducting internal compliance assessments and coordinating external compliance audits, and participating in gap assessments, compliance readiness, and compliance monitoring.
  • You are a seasoned compliance professional with a keen interest in process automation and have experience in designing and implementing compliance programs
  • Previously, you’ve worked through audits and conducted audits, generated metrics on compliance program status
  • You have a strong focus on optimization through consolidation and automating assessments, and have a healthy curiosity that enables you to learn the why behind a decision, as well as the why-not
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Information Security principles, knowledge of IT processes (e.g. Change Management)
  • Strong product and project ownership skills
  • Ability to balance priorities of multiple tasks advancing at varying rates
  • Curiosity, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Previous experience with GRC or compliance tools (e.g. OneTrust, Standard Fusion, ZenGRC, Fusion Framework, <Securiti.ai>)
  • Vendor Management, Incident Management, Risk Assessment/Management, Data Privacy Operations
  • Security or Audit Certifications such as CISSP, CISM and/or CISA
  • Interested or passionate in process automation
  • You have active privacy certifications (CIPP/C, CIPP/EU, CIPM, etc…)
  • Have previously worked in a legal office environment or a highly regulated environment
  • Previous technical experience (e.g. Network and System Administration, Python/Ruby scripting, Workato experience)
