Staff Analytics Lead

Join Air, a fast-growing company where the Data team plays a crucial role in shaping the company's strategy. As a Staff Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for establishing the analytics function at Air, driving strategic conversations about measurement, product focus, and decision-making. You will own the design and performance of Air's transformation layer, ensure data quality and trust, enable organizational data access, and manage the data pipeline. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in DBT, proficiency in SQL, and a minimum of 6 years of experience in an analytics role.

• Concevoir, gérer et améliorer la couche de transformation des données dans dbt et BigQuery, en veillant à la qualité et à la performance des modèles.
• Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de test, de fraîcheur et d'observabilité pour garantir la fiabilité des données.
• Collaborer avec les équipes interfonctionnelles pour transformer les besoins commerciaux en produits de données performants et fiables.
• Technical Ability:Deep hands-on DBT expertise is required: modular, tested, well-documented models; project structure at scale
• Experience owning a semantic or metrics layer as a shared product that standardizes business logic across tools and teams is a plus
• Proactive communicator who can effectively partner with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Proficient in SQL and have extensive data modeling experience. Experience with a statistical scripting language (Python, R) is a plus
• Self-drive who can gather context autonomously and translate data needs into task and solutions
• Experience: 6+ years experience in an analytics role, uncovering and delivering insights to stakeholders that significantly change their priorities
