Frontend Engineer

Join Dutch Pet, Inc., a company focused on virtual veterinary care and telemedicine. As a Front-End Engineer, you will design and develop digital user interfaces and websites, optimize applications for speed and performance, and work closely with back-end developers and UI/UX designers. You should have experience with modern front-end technologies, RESTful APIs, Git, GraphQL, JavaScript, CSS, Vue.js, and TypeScript. A bachelor's degree and one year of relevant work experience are required.

• Concevoir des interfaces utilisateur numériques et des sites Web, et développer et tester des mises en page, des interfaces, des fonctionnalités et des menus de navigation.
• Transformer des maquettes et des concepts de conception en applications Web fonctionnelles en utilisant des technologies front-end modernes.
• Développer et déployer différentes versions d'une fonctionnalité pour déterminer celle qui fonctionne le mieux, en utilisant des données pour informer les décisions produit.
• Rest API: Experience integrating RESTful APIs into front-end applications, handling data fetching, authentication, and displaying dynamic content
• Github: Experience with Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests in a collaborative environment
• GraphQL: Practical experience with GraphQL for efficient data fetching, including schema design and client-side integration
• Strong command of modern JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming and core language features
• Shopify: Hands-on experience developing and customizing Shopify themes, Liquid templates, and apps, with integration of third-party plugins and APIs
• Bachelor’s degree (any) or foreign equivalent and one year of work experience in the job offered or as a Front-end Engineer, Front-end Developer, Web Developer or in related occupation
• Position requires one year of experience in the following:
• CSS: Proficient in modern CSS, responsive design, and preprocessors like Sass
• Vue.js: experience building dynamic, component-based applications using Vue.js, including Vue Router, Vuex (or Pinia), and single-file components
• TypeScript: Practical experience using TypeScript to build robust, scalable applications with strong typing
