Infrastructure Software Engineer

• Design, build, and operate systems that support the product and engineers.
• Take responsibility for reliability, security, scalability, and performance of Anrok's infrastructure.
• Drive technical decisions about infrastructure, identify and fix bugs and technical debt.
• We're looking for someone who wants to own their impact and find simple solutions to complex problems that are tailored to our needs
• We use GCP, Pulumi, Postgres, and TypeScript, but prior experience is not required
• You have a security mindset and think carefully about edge cases
• Your designs take into account current and future needs, technical debt, and maintenance, and you can clearly articulate the tradeoffs
• You have 5+ years of experience operating cloud-deployed software at scale using config-as-code
• Experience managing relational databases at scale is a plus, but not required
• You level up the people around you by sharing your knowledge and experience
• You have a strong technical background, with 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• You think through problems thoroughly to ensure we're building the right solution to the right problem at the right time, and you will push back when necessary
